Last year I got married. My husband and I were thinking a lot of time where we should go for our honeymoon. Unluckily, the decision was not simple. After a few weeks of research we made a decision to choose Santorini as our favourite place. But it was not the only decision. When we already chose our destination, we had to make a decision where we were going to stay.

We were thinking both about standard hotels and santorini honeymoon hotels. Finally, we have decided for the second option. And it was one of the best decision. I would recommend such hotels to any newlyweds! To start with, the room itself was great. If you are in a honeymoon hotel, you could be sure that there is one huge king bed with romantically furnished bathroom. Our room had also a lot of other great features. For instance, there was a wide bathtub, ideally for 2 people. Nevertheless, the most awesome thing was our private veranda. I never thought about this as a romantic thing, but this proved to be my favourite one. Because ofthe fact that it was private, I didn’t have to be concerned about our outfits or the fact that any other people can see us. We enjoyed there many unforgettable moments while watching sunsets.

Secondly, the hotel was located in a quiet part of the city. That might sound not important but it is extremely essential. Just trust me. During the honeymoon you don’t want to be angry about loud music in the evening or street noises during the day. That could destroy any romantic moment. Because of the hotel location, we didn’t have to worry about noises at any moment!

Last but not least – the service was just amazing. I am convinced that this is important as rude staff could destroy your mood for the rest of the evening. The staff in a hotel was just great. I think it can have something to do with the fact that memers of staff know that guests are on their honeymoon so they make any effort to build a marvellous atmosphere. Doubtlessly, I definitely would suggest 1 of the santorini honeymoon hotels. My partner and I have spent there the best week of our life. Definitely, we would come back there one day. Perhaps during our wedding anniversary?
